Her mouth moved like an exfixiating flounder
As she caught taste of the sea With Its brilliant winds of horrid possibility And its manning pane of swash bucketing fortune-hunters So her eyes tore out and gave themselves away to melt into the brutal horizon off the coast of an English shore As she ripped off her pettie coat Threw the pins from her dueling hair Lost all good posture and any gleaming pristine Then ran away on a ship all raggedly vast Sloshed with black sailed masts Where they pierced her virgin ears with whale bone scorn Painted her pale lips in shades of maroon And fed her fragility out to the sea Nourishing her with the ways of pillaging and fortune telling Till her hair tangled out like a fraying rag doll Her face wild and shimmering with ravishing raged glow And so she Madam buccaneer Placid oath, love only to the waves A sword of her own Plays in her fiery hands The Pirate queen With the moon in her shroud Riding her own crew, the best of the brave On their deck of scrupulous dream |
